Jonathan Detres started playing  the bagpipes back in 2011. He basically hot the idea of playing the bagpipes when he was younger back during the September 11 attacks in 2001. He also gotb and he idea ofvyhe bagpipes when he attended one of his fallen friends marc Anthony dinardo who lost his life when he was shot in the line of duty of in 2009 in Jersey  city.  When Jonathan attended the funeral he saw pipers and drummers throughout the state of new Jersey play at the funeral service. Jonathan Detres is a Hispanic police and fire bagpiper who plays through out in the state of New Jersey mostly at police and fire events also other events such as parades funerals and birthday parties and etc
